very very very frustrated now with stubborn parents and parents who refuse to see things your way.
my mom's intending to renovate my room and i thought anytime would be a good time since my holidays are coming.
or even during the term, when i'm in hall, i won't have to sleep in the mess.
but
no, she insists that there is no point renovating my room since i'm going to stay in hall next year and so she's gonna wait till i decide to move home permanently.
and with the brilliant plan that ong and i have to secure our place in hall till we graduate, i doubt i'll be moving back permanently anytime soon.
i don't see what's the difference actually.
even if i do stay in hall, it'll only be for 3-4 days a week and the rest of the time i'm at home cos its the most comfortable and i don't have to go down a few floors just to watch tv in a dusty room.
but no, she insists that since i stay in hall, why come back so often?
and then she says, by the time i graduate and start earning my money, she won't pay for the renovation which should cost around 20k or so.
LIKE WOW. so when i'm working i'll have the same kiddy room i had when i was 9 years old.
wow wow wow.
so i intend to be jobless till my room gets renovated just so she'll pay for the renovation.
lol.
and according to her i'll get married very soon after graduation (is she thinking of an arranged marriage?! GOSH), so i'll move out and there'll be LESSER need to renovate my room.
sometimes i really don't know what she's thinking. but i'm really really really sick of her nonsensical arguments.
