a new post for a happy new year!
to me, chinese new year means more than THE new year cos i love the traditions and the angpaos and the gatherings and the .... FOOOOOOOOOD :) :)
yes i'm sucha glutton i know.
which is why after this post i'm going to run with my muffins again!
have been running alot these past few months and its sort of taking over swimming :(
boo. i seem to be moving on from one sport to the next so quickly.
i used to feel guilty when i didn't swim at lesat 2x a week, now i feel guilty if i don't run every night that i'm home.
so the past week was totally cool!
had midnight fiesta with the hall people and we went to chinatown and geylang to eat.
chinatown was eating and shopping and geylang was walking through the alleys haha.
and during the weekend i worked at raffles place giving out stupid advertisements. 10 bucks an hour!
i shd have kept the money instead of contributing it to dnd. damn :(
sunday was major shopping spree with muffins!
we bought like 3 tops each i think... so that settled my cny clothing.
no dress though :(
was looking so hard for a dress.
oh well, next year i guess.
ytd was prob the funnest day i had all sem cos cheryl and i went to jojo's place for mahjong!
and it ended up in an impromptu sleepover :)
4 people (including jo's sis) on a bed.
and we managed to wake up for lecture this morning!
hah. but i gave up after one lecture and went back to sleep.
yay yay tmr's the first day of chinese new year! i'm damnnnn excited.
unfortunately i've a ton of homework to complete + classes to make up for. (that's the sad irony of being in uni, your holidays aren't really holidays cos they count every single lesson and you have to make up for every lesson you miss)
plus ive got to get started on my ob creative writing assignment! and stupid ob presentation next week... and the annoying -coping with cultural transition test- i have RIGHT after cny.

oh well gonna enjoy myself first! :)
