i realised i'm damn cynical about everything nowadays. especially relationships.i wonder why. its not as though i've suffered from many heartbreaks.
update on what i've been doing! :)
yesterday was the accounting project meeting.
at starbucks raffles city! hoho :) good place for mugging if you're willing to splurge on ridiculously price coffee.
i remember my classmate in ac used to say "eh you girls drink 7 dollar coffee, i drink 50 cent coffee at coffeeshop lor"
we were done with the discussion pretty fast so mf and i went off to shop! :)
didn't get anything though.
and kpoh thomas came along. amazing how he found us considering that i only told him we were at raffles city.
then it was dinner with cams at arab street!
silly girl wanted to "feel" the culture of the place for her project and stupidly went to interview some indian carpet seller who couldn't speak proper english.
and he said these carpets are "decoooruition" meaning decoration and cams thought he said lucrative! it was damnnn embarrassing.
and i kept nudging her to hurry up and the poor guy thought i wanted to ask him a question!
i reckon he thought i was rude :(
walked around arab street for awhile and got totally lost.
the good thing about getting lost is that you discover the most amazing things :)
like the turkish restaurant last night!
we shared a setmeal of mushroom soup (authentic creamy huge chunks of mushroom inside soup), warm pita and garlic bread with funky egyptian dips, hibiscus juice (damn cool right!! looks like ribena though...), mixed kebabs *swoons at the thought* and some weird egyptian dessert.
was one of the most adventurous meals i've had :)
and today i went swimming and tanning!
then rushed down to tpy lib to mug with meifang and zack.
dinner was cheap but one of the bestttttttttttttt dinners i've had in a long time :)
zack brought us to some coffeeshop to have good kwaychap, people stand around waiting for the stall to open ok! and we had those assorted meat stuff you choose yourself and black carrot cake!
god i sound like sucha pig.
and as if that wasn't enough, we had dessert after the library closed.
didn't even manage to finish my stats tutorial. horrible people we are.
oh and i just remembered. we ate icecream too. those roadside stall kind. luckily we caught the guy before he left!
those two are really the best people to gossip/mug/eat with.
haha we always have so much to talk about even though we've known each other for so long.
and today i was telling zack how we thought he was a weirdo at the beginning of sem 1.
thank god for the time when mf and i happened to lunch with him. and thats when we realised what a really great guy he is :D
