yesterday was my last day at zion and i had the perfect goodbye.
my aunt made the kids say "teacher ann we'll miss you please come back and visit us when you're free must bring sweets! we wish you all the best" blahblah.
and the teachers asked me to join their ndp celebration.
maybe i will since they look so cute with the pompoms and i know the ndp stuff anyway :)
after work i rushed down to ntu with ong.
and this is what ong wrote about our ntu recce session:
went down to look at our room.
and i like it. haha
though it's still empty but there are a lot of storage spaces.
and they are so high tech. we use cards to tap open our block gates as well as our door.
signed up for the orientation camp.
but before that we made them tell us wad are they gonna do on monday tuesday wednesday till saturday.
and according to the hall president, block 3c is the most happening one.
guess we were lucky coz we got hall3c (alr pre-assigned) and level7 which made me glad.
the remaining lower floors were all dark and ours is bright coz we are facing the balcony.
the toilets suck i can say. only like 4 cubicles per level. :(
saw the laundry room and there are like 5 washing machines inside.
visited the lounge at hall3c and there were like 4guys playing mahjong.
yeah playing mahjong on a friday afternoon.
that just about sums up everything about our room. i would post photos of it but it looks very plain so we gotta wait till its nicely decorated then you'll see before and after photos.
but overall quite impressive, that applies to the room only.
the toilets are quite gross... its so troublesome to lug all your toiletries along whenever you want to go to the toilet. sigh.
headed down to ikea after our recce and we only got a rug for our room, bathroom mat and a rubbish bin. waste time.
today i went shopping with ongs for shorts but ended up buying 3 tops and only one pair of shorts....
man i need to get my priorities right haha.
tmr's moving in day!
im quite excited. abit stressed over what to bring.
i want my room to be as comfy as possible but when i come home i want to see my own room in its original state... so ive been frantically trying to duplicate everything.
