on tues i ponned sch and went back to crescent with cam!and my main purpose in going back?
TO EAT THE YUMMY FOOD!
cam and i shared 2 plates of charsiewrice, one bowl of lormee, one bowl of wanton, dessert and drinks :) was sooo stuffed after that. and the food was so cheap!!!!!!! :))
then we went to the lib to talk (ironical) and slack :D
wanted to watch a video (CRESCENT HAS VIDEOS AC DOESNT! ) but the sec4s were studying so... :(
possibly the blur-est friend i have.
today: BABY'S 1+8TH BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!
finally i can talk abt his pressies freely! :D
yesterday i went with ong yish and jas to buy his birthday balloons but the woman at the shop told us that helium balloons will start sagging after 7hrs!
in my desperation i almost bought a pinnata (those things you stuff with sweets and smash them) but they were soo ex and ong didnt let me buy.
ong's brilliant idea came when we were at macs and she saw the stick balloons that macs gives out to kids!!
so i thick-skinnedly asked the manager for 9 sticks!!! gosh it was so embarrassing ok.
then we went back to the party shop and bought the balloons.
again, ong's entrepreneurial skills (IM PRAISING YOU!) came in handy.
an empty balloon costs 60cents while a filled one costs 1.60
i wanted to just get the 1.60 one but again, ong didnt let.
yish volunteered to blow up the balloons but after 1 balloon she was damn breathless.
ong and jas couldnt blow and i tried so damn hard to blow but it just wouldn't inflate!!!!!
the balloon had more saliva on it than air inside!!
the women in the shop were like laughing at us until one of them finally came out and said "um we'll help you blow them free of charge"
SO NICE OK! i was sooo touched i felt like crying.
cos if they didnt volunteer i would just pay for the filled balloons.
but God provides :D hehe.
so the four of us carried 9 balloons into the mrt and home.
and this morning was damn embarrassing when jas and i carried all the balloons into sch.
