today's a good day. except for the whole lotta econs essay outlines i have to do which i haven't started on.rar just had econs tuition ytd and we're having it again tmr!
and in between, jas and i are supposed to study 1 chap of intl trade and do like 4 essay outlines?
*screamssss* i hate you prelims!
anyways got a beeeg warning/scolding/whatever you interpret it to be from kellychan today abt the article in the straitstimes.
in case you didn't know, it said singaporean students find the things they learn in school irrelevant (as quoted by an acjc student) and are most likely to migrate.
heh. i belong to the most likely to migrate one.
i don't see what the beeg fuss in the article is abt.
anyone who's stuck in this education system should have realised by now that learning functions, complex numbers, trigo, organic chem reactions, the principle of comparative advantage (I JUST STUDIED THAT HALF AN HR AGO!quick test me!) is hardly relevant to our future working life.
i'm not complaining tho, and i won't be one of those who'll bravely stand up to the government and tell them what sucks, cos as long as i get my degree and the job i want, then education has served its purpose :)
on a lighter note, sg stayed back in class to take photos in prep for the class page!!!!
