the last 2 days have been totally exciting!last night there was dinner with mei and cam at ajisen ramen.
for the first time mei was early and i was late and cam was the latest!
wow she arrived at 8.45 can go home and sleep alreadyyy (:
anyway talked and talked till like 10 until the woman even gave us extra water cos maybe we were talking too loudly.
heh heh. it was damn cool remembering all the silly stuff we did in sec sch!
somemore it was mei's treat so niceee of her.
but i gave her my esprit bag ok!
after that we had yami yoghurt rar we are fat pple
that was my treat heh (: im nice too!
walked around town for awhile till all the shops were closing.
sigh singapore shd have more of a nightlife!
the bestest kinda going out friends! :)
today, woke up super duper early to go for the cooking competition!
took the 1 hr long mrt ride to westmalll and wow i was late :)
but baby was nice and he waited for meee...
so sweeet my darling!
anywayss the competition had four rounds.
1st - jas and yish did gingerbread men which they totally screwed up. :| looked more like aliens than man
2nd - baby and i did prata! the team next to us didn't come so we koped their flour and made 5 pratasss! my baby the prataman! mine had alot of holes inside and his didnt have a single hole k.
anyway pratas are real oily you know! and once there's a hole inside, its impossible to patch it back!! so i was desperately trying to cover up all the holes in my prata but to no avail :(
3rd - ong and yish did pineapple tarts. they made 17!! wow.. don't really know how that went cos baby and i were pigging out at bk :) heh heh
4th - jas and i made tangyuan! the guys at the other table poured the whole container of water into the flour and made a huge mess, they couldnt get any tangyuan out! but jasmine and i made um... small small big big tangyuan. veryyy cuteee.
i've had enough of flour for the next 6 months. got flour all over my hands fingernails and arms... :( each round was 10 mins which meant it was a mad rush to knead the dough and shape it into something presentable. quite exciting really :)
and the best part of the competition?
WE WON 250 BUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! which means 50 bucks eachhh (:
the top prize was 500 and we could have been better off with that but ah well, against aunties and uncles who have had at least 4 decades of cooking experience, top 5 prize is DARN GOOD ENUFF! :)
bought a pair of shoes on my way home.
something like birks! and very very comfortable!
fell asleep on baby's shoulder on the way home... sweet.
yay! im a happy girlll (:
