i would never have been prepared for the fate that awaited me at mount bukit timah.
(note: its mt bukit timah to me and not bt hill)
started off on one of the harder trails..
it was so freaking disgusting, all the six legged things crawling around you, dead leaves all smashed together as ground. =beginning i could still stand it.
but you know what happened?
IT RAINED.
as in, poured.
huge droplets of rain descended from the sky mercilessly on me :(
i'd rather a spider spin a web over my hair!
or have a giant monitor lizard cross my path.
but NO. it rained.
sometimes i donno what God's doing up there.
hello! we were on a hike for the sake of recoying the place for the youths.
who are going there tmr for a supposedly fun amended Amazing Race cum hike!
thankfully we found a shelter.
then started taking pics. haha
and we continued after like 15 mins of slacking.
:(
i was damn miserable, cos it was still raining.
and you know how soil and dead leaves trap water so well?
the whole place was a swamp okay!!!
SO MUDDY. and like a foot high of ...yellowish water.
erghs!! treaded thru all the gunk
and i'm proud to say, we finished it in 55 mins!!!!!!
that means we're freaking good k? cos the route is supposed to take around 1 hr without rain?
we did it in the rain!!!!! heavy rain somemore!!!

anyways, i'm home now.
yay.
tnr's hike is gonna be a blast since i'm a gamemaster :)
